Words of Discipline

We have found a great speaker, Shon Smith, on-line that does a wonderful job preaching God's word. God has really used him to encourage what is godly in my heart, to discipline my thoughts (as well as some of my actions) and to desire more what God wants of me. I think that all of you can be blessed by hearing him. If you would like to do so, please go to:

http://www.universitycofc.org/podcasts.html

You can listen to it while on your computer, or even download it onto your ipod. Since I do not know how to download, I listen to it while on the computer. His Mother's Day sermon was excellent. The message from June 1 really touched me. I hope that you have an opportunity to hear him.

While we were gone...

While we were on vacation, E and Z made some progress in their growing up. E had a very, very loose tooth---his very first loose tooth. We stayed overnight at a friend's house and while there, E's tooth came out. The tooth fairy did not come to see him until we stayed the night at the beach, but man was he excited!!!!!!!!!! He carried his tooth around all day looking at it and was really disappointed when the tooth fairy came and left him a dollar instead of leaving him his tooth. E lost his tooth on Friday, June 6.

While E lost a tooth, Z sprouted another one. He now has three teeth on his bottom gums and we are looking (and waiting)for that fourth one to balance out his smile.

if you look closely, you can see E sticking
his tongue out through the hole in his smile

Sun, sand and fun

We are at the beach with Dana's family. The kids are having a good time and we are enjoying ourselves. The kids are all having a great time and Z is enjoying trying out the sand. He also likes to eat shells, rocks and anything else he can grab off of the floor or the beach. The grittiness of the sand does not deter his taste testing at all.

We have several pictures of our beach experience, but will show only a few of our family shots right now. Other pictures I will post later.
The other boy in this picture is our nephew.
