Budding Artist

We got a letter the other day from M-G's school. A piece of her artwork was chosen to be put on display in the Children's Museum. Also on display were other children's artwork from the area elementary schools and middle schools. It was fun to go to the art gallery of the museum and see M-G's painting there.

Lopsided

Well, Z now has three teeth. The third tooth came through during the night (of course) this past Thursday/Friday. So you can get a picture of how cute his little mouth is and how it makes us giggle, I will explain which teeth he has.

His first one came through, as you look into his mouth, just to the right of where his center teeth will be. His next tooth that grew was one of his center teeth on top...right beside his first tooth. So far, all teeth on the top are only on one side of his mouth. The third tooth that has been working its way out the past few days is on the bottom. It is one of the center teeth, but this one is (again, as you look in his mouth) on the left side. I am wondering if his teeth will continue to grow in this trend. !!!

This picture of him is not a great one, but it does show his two top teeth. Sorry about the carrot stain on his nose!! :)

We are working with him on the concept of symmetry. He is just not getting it yet. Right now...he is just a little lopsided!

Yep...he kinda looks like a jack-o-lantern!

Red Hills

The embankments along the hills of the highways and near the bridges of our town are covered with a beautiful red blanket of some flower. So many people have stopped to take pictures of the red hillsides, us included. Sadly, we got our picture near the end of the blooming, but it is still a beautiful sight!!!
