Summertime

We moved into our rent house the last weekend of May and stayed there for a month and a half. That same weekend that we moved in, we went and saw a just-on-the-market house. After our offer was accepted, we had a few weeks of waiting and then moved into it on July 16th. Our stay in the rent house was wonderful and the children loved the creek that ran around two sides of the house. I, however, was a little leery of it, especially after 5 neighbors told us that they had killed several water moccasins!!! We enjoyed watching the tadpoles and the little minnows swimming in it and catching a few frogs. Most of our things stayed packed up, including furniture and a lot of clothes. This made moving in July a lot easier...not as much to repack! However, since most of our things were packed into the rent house garage, it was once confused for a garage sale!!! :o) We definitely had to make sure the garage was always closed on the weekends---otherwise we had strangers milling around, asking us how much we would take for this or that! (o:
