The other day while MG was playing on her Webkinz, D-D and E were playing on the office floor. D-D was at the window and apparently, E got a bit too close to her. She began to squeal and push at him with her feet. He, of course, began to push back. D-D's squeals, if they could be put into words, said, "You are too close to me! Stop looking out of this huge window that all of us could look out of at the same time if we wanted to!!!! Stop touching my shadow!! Stop breathing my air!!! Stop blinking your eyes all the time!! Whine, whine, whine!!!" E grew up for a few seconds and decided it was just better to move away and leave her alone. D-D acted her age and followed him, continuing to push at him with her feet. I sent her to her room to cool down and give her some time to "get nice." She did not like this at all and ran to her room crying and screaming (lovely picture I am painting, isn't it?).
This whole time MG is sitting at the computer quietly playing her Webkinz game. After D-D is left yelling in her room, MG says with a shake of her head, "Tsk! tsk! tsk! D-D sure got up on the dark side of the bed this morning, huh?!"
And for any of you who may be thinking that she is watching too much "Star Wars"...she hasn't ever seen the movies yet. :) This "dark" thought was all her own!

Yesterday during lunch, MG began telling us her thoughts on getting in trouble.
"Whenever I do something and you guys just fuss and talk, talk, talk: I just get away inside my head. I just don't care about getting in trouble! I just....don't care about it! So..."
We talked to her about needing to "care" about it, how we were wanting to help her, how we were teaching her what was right to do, but...I think she just got away inside her head. I am not sure if she even heard us!
After telling my sister about this today, we both laughed so hard we cried. I am glad that MG was at school while I laughed about it...now let's hope she doesn't read this blog entry for a while!
